Restaurant Kyoto opened in 1991 in the Radisson Blu Hotel, which was then called Radisson SAS Scandianvia Hotel. Apart from its sister restaurant Sukiyaki, which today is located on Vesterbrogade 13, it was the only restaurant in Copenhagen offering teppanyaki.
The owner originates from Kyoto, the former Japanese imperial capital, and is very knowledgable in traditional Japanese food. One can read more about the owner's background through the link below.

On the menu, guests can also find traditional Japanese courses such as sukiyaki and noodles.
We are still the only restaurant in Copenhagen offering teppanyaki, where the guests can sit and watch while the chef prepares the food on a large cooking plate.
